We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people on a screen reader, on a keyboard only, or at heavy magnification. On August 7, 2026 we measured exenzo.com against WCAG 2.1 level AA. Below is what we measured, what we fixed that day, and what is still open.
This statement covers exenzo.com, not the product.
The measurement covers the marketing site exenzo.com. The career sites and job boards our clients run on our software fall outside it, and so does the application flow a candidate goes through. That part has not been measured yet.
We will run that measurement as soon as an environment is available with a test vacancy that can receive trial applications. We will then walk the whole path: job overview, job page, application form, CV upload, and confirmation. Until then we make no claim about the accessibility of the application flow.
We partially meet WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Our target level is WCAG 2.1 level AA. The status is partially compliant. On the pages we measured we fixed everything we found, with one exception: the decorative animations still have no pause control. We will only call it fully compliant once the remaining pages, the English versions and the application flow have been checked, and once it has been tested with a real screen reader.
The measurement was done on August 7, 2026.
We ran Lighthouse, which bundles axe-core internally. We also calculated the contrast values ourselves with the WCAG formula, walked through every element that can take focus to check the focus ring is visible, and went through the forms on the keyboard alone. We did the measurement ourselves; it was not an external audit.
Three things we could not measure the way we wanted. Contrast on top of a gradient was calculated by hand instead of by script. The setting for reduced motion was simulated in the browser instead of switched on in the operating system. And no screen reader was available, so what gets read out comes from the browser's accessibility tree.
These pages were measured.
The home page, the career site page, the job board page, the contact page, and the page where you request a trial environment. All of them in Dutch.
Not measured: pricing, services, partners, about us, SEO and GEO, the audience pages, and all English versions. Two of the findings sat in the footer and in the focus ring, which appear on every page, so those repairs apply across the whole site.
This was fixed on August 7.
- Text with too little contrast. The section label above the dark hero sat at 2.26:1, the button label in the footer at 4.08:1, and the border of the input fields at 1.51:1. They now meet the required ratio (SC 1.4.3 and 1.4.11).
- The focus ring on dark sections. In the hero and the footer the ring stood out too little against the background, at 2.09:1 and 2.72:1. On a dark background the ring is now light (SC 1.4.11).
- The radio buttons in the forms. They had no group name, so technically they were not a group and a screen reader read them out as separate choices (SC 1.3.1 and 4.1.2).
- The labels on the input fields. The hint text sat inside the field name and is now read out as a separate description. The fields for company, email address and phone number can autofill as well (SC 1.3.5).
- The order of the headings on the contact page and on the request page, where a level was skipped (SC 1.3.1).
This is still open.
- The application flow on career sites and job boards has not been measured. That is the largest open item, and it is exactly the part a candidate has to get through.
- The pricing, services, partners, about us, SEO and GEO and audience pages have not been measured. Neither have the English versions.
- Zooming to 200 percent, the layout on a screen 320 pixels wide, and increased text spacing have not been tested (SC 1.4.4, 1.4.10 and 1.4.12).
- There has been no screen reader test yet. We want to hear it on NVDA and VoiceOver, the forms above all.
- The decorative animations on the home page and on the career site page have no pause button (SC 2.2.2). They do stop as soon as you tell your system you want less motion.
